We know that your choice of early childhood programs is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child. At The Growing Tree, we are committed to providing a positive and rewarding experience for your family. The Growing Tree is a licensed-exempt church day care facility that promotes a developmentally appropriate learning atmosphere that is positive and Christ-centered. Your child will explore, learn and will be nurtured by loving care providers.

We believe that the development of each child is to be encouraged though learning centers. Our learning centers and our curriculum are designed to promote a balanced degree of learning. These centers include: Art, Block, Dramatic Play, Language, Library, Math, Science, Music, Movement, Pre-writing, Small Motor, Large Motor and Sensory experiences. Using centers, our teachers build a framework for success in the classroom, and encourage the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, creative, and language development of your child. The goals of these learning centers are: to enhance the development of readiness skills, to encourage a love of learning and to promote family involvement in the learning process.

Family involvement in our early childhood program is critical, so we encourage you to spend time talking with your child about his/her day. By doing this, it helps to bridge the gap between home and school thus extends the learning experience at home. Occasionally, your child's teacher may ask you to send things from home to use in the classroom. If you have questions or comments, please share them with the Staff. We look forward to serving your family and proving excellent child care for your child.
